Club Activo 20-30 de Panamá
One organization. One country. One specific goal.
Teletón 20-30 is the flagship project of Club Activo 20-30 de Panamá, a nonprofit volunteer organization founded on the idea that young people have both the responsibility and the ability to build a better country.
Mission
To serve the community, especially children and people with disabilities, by promoting solidarity, youth leadership and well-rounded human development throughout Panama.
Vision
To be the youth organization with the greatest social impact in Panama, recognized for concrete, measurable projects that transform people’s lives.
How it all fits together
From the club to the delivered project.
Three separate things that sometimes get mixed up. Keeping them apart is what makes an honest accounting possible.
The organization
Club Activo 20-30 de Panamá
A nonprofit volunteer organization with a presence in multiple provinces and districts. Each year it mobilizes hundreds of volunteers for health, education and social welfare activities.
The campaign
Teletón 20-30
The annual fundraising event: 28 straight hours of nationwide broadcast that bring artists, companies, media and citizens together around a single cause.
The work
Goal Project
The specific intervention being funded: a ward, a piece of equipment, a center. It answers a documented need, and its reach can be measured in numbers of people.
How the Teletón works
Four stages, one commitment.
-
01
The Goal Project
Each year the Club studies the medical and infrastructure needs of the country’s public health institutions. From that assessment, it selects the specific work the funds raised will pay for.
-
02
The event
A nationwide broadcast, 28 straight hours long, that brings the country’s television channels together. Since 2026, it also runs in a regional format at different times of the year.
-
03
The handover
Once the goal is reached, the Club manages the purchase, construction or equipping of the project and formally hands it over to the receiving institution. Every project is supervised and documented.
-
04
Transparency
Each project is presented publicly with its description, scope, receiving institution and results. Here’s how we account for it.
Recognition and milestones
A history of firsts.

-
2019

-
2020
The first virtual edition in the Teletón’s history, in the middle of the pandemic, with a 28-hour broadcast and six longtime ambassadors.
-
