Event result
The event is over. Now we reconcile.
Our team reconciles the gifts received through every channel before publishing the official result. Publishing a preliminary figure as if it were final would be faster, but it wouldn’t be true.
What “reconcile” means
It means checking every gift reported during the broadcast against the payment provider’s records, the bank deposits and the corporate pledges actually collected. Only the result of that check is published as the official figure.
