Legal documents
The rules, in plain terms.
These documents explain how we handle your data, the conditions under which you use the site, how donations work, and the accessibility commitment we make. If this English version differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
Texts pending legal review
The summaries on this page describe how the product behaves and the editorial criteria agreed on. The binding legal text must be drafted and approved by the legal counsel of Club Activo 20-30 de Panamá before the site is published to the public.
01
Privacy
We collect only the data needed to process your donation or answer your inquiry. The only form on this site is the donation amount selector, which takes you to Paguelo Fácil and doesn’t ask for personal data.
- Donations. Card donations are paid on Paguelo Fácil, which processes your card details on its own page and informs us of the amount and reference of each payment. Yappy and bank transfers are processed at your bank or in Yappy. We do not store card numbers, security codes or banking credentials.
- Inquiries. If you write to us at recepcion@activo20-30.org or call us at +507 270-2030, we use your data only to respond and keep it for as long as needed to resolve the case.
- Analytics. It only runs if you accept it. The details are in Cookies and local storage.
- Archive map. When you reach the project explorer on the History page, your browser downloads the map from Mapbox’s servers, and Mapbox receives your IP address. The list of projects next to the map has the same information.
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data by writing to us at recepcion@activo20-30.org with the subject line “Privacidad” (Privacy).
02
Terms of use
The content of this site belongs to Club Activo 20-30 de Panamá unless expressly stated otherwise. The logos, regional logotypes, three-dimensional alphabet and 2026 campaign objects are protected brand assets and may not be reproduced, recolored or recomposed without written authorization.
Published information is offered in good faith and updated as it is verified. When a piece of information is preliminary, we say so explicitly. When we correct a material piece of information, we publish the correction with its date and reason.
News media can request materials by writing to us with “press” in the subject line, and may use them under the license indicated on each one.
03
Donations and refunds
A card donation is confirmed when Paguelo Fácil notifies us of the charge. The screen you see when you finish paying is not, on its own, a confirmation.
If a charge was made in error, was duplicated or was made without your authorization, write to us with the transaction reference. We log the request, verify it with the provider and respond within the published time frame.
04
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage to remember non-sensitive preferences: the last amount you chose on the donation page, whether you paused the animations, your language and your analytics choice. That information does not leave your device.
Analytics only loads if you accept it in the privacy notice. If you reject it or don’t respond, it doesn’t load.
- Google Analytics (Google). Measures visits, page views and clicks on donate so we can see how the site is used. It uses the
_gaand_ga_*cookies, which last up to 2 years. - PostHog. Measures visits, time on each page and clicks on donate. It doesn’t use cookies: it keeps an identifier in session storage, which is deleted when you close the tab.
We keep your choice for 12 months. You can change it at any time under “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete those cookies from your browser.
05
Accessibility
Our goal is to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA level on complete pages and in all their responsive variants. In practice, that means:
- All critical information (amounts, statuses, dates, ways to give) exists as real text on the page, not inside an image.
- The entire site works with a keyboard, with a screen reader and with zoom up to 400%.
- Motion respects your system’s reduced-motion preference. No content depends on an animation running.
- Color is never the only indicator of a status: there is always accompanying text, a shape or an icon.
- Maps and charts are supplements. The equivalent list is always available.
If you run into an accessibility barrier, write to us. We treat that report as a product defect, not a suggestion.
